These terms apply to the websites, phone numbers, and services of Local Intent Media LLC ("we," "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms.
What we do
We create service-related websites that help connect homeowners with service providers. When a homeowner asks, we connect them with an independent, licensed contractor that we choose. We don't sell websites, SEO, or advertising, and we don't perform home-service work. Any agreement for work is between the homeowner and the contractor, and the contractor is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship, and warranties. We encourage homeowners to check any contractor's license before hiring.
Information only
Information on our websites is general and for reference. It isn't professional, legal, or financial advice, and it may not fit every home. Prices, rebates, rules, and product details can change. A contractor's written quote for your home is what counts.
Text message terms
- Who sends them: Local Intent Media LLC, from our business phone numbers.
- What they're about: replies and follow-ups. For homeowners, that means responding to and following up on your request. For contractors we refer homeowners to, that means coordinating those referrals.
- How you agree to them: by texting us first, or by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts from us by phone, by email, or in person. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service.
- How often: message frequency varies.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Stopping texts: reply STOP at any time. We'll send one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and then no more texts unless you sign up again.
- Help: reply HELP, or email seth@localintentmedia.com.
- Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: we don't share mobile numbers or text-message consent with anyone for their marketing. See our privacy policy.
Limits on our responsibility
We provide our websites and referrals as they are. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for the work, products, prices, or conduct of any contractor, or for losses that come from using our websites or relying on their information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
