This policy explains how Local Intent Media LLC ("we," "us") handles information when you visit our websites, call us, email us, or text us.
What we collect
- Information you give us when you call, text, email, or send a request: for example your name, phone number, email address, town or ZIP code, and details about what you need. For contractors we refer homeowners to, their business contact details.
- Records of calls and text messages with our business phone numbers, kept by our phone service providers. Calls may be recorded.
- Basic technical information our website host collects when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. We don't use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To answer you and handle your request.
- When a homeowner asks to be connected with a contractor, to pass that request to one independent contractor who serves their area.
- To follow up, keep records of the referrals we make, and run our business.
- To keep our websites working and secure.
Who we share it with
- When a homeowner asks us to connect them with a contractor, we share their name, contact details, and request with that one contractor so the contractor can reach them about it.
- Companies that provide our phone, email, and website hosting services, only so they can provide those services to us.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages and mobile numbers
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The sharing described above, such as passing a homeowner's request to the one contractor they asked to be connected with, does not include text-message opt-in data or consent.
You can stop receiving texts from us at any time by replying STOP. See our text message terms.
Your choices
You can ask us to stop contacting you, or to delete the information we hold about you, by emailing seth@localintentmedia.com, or by replying STOP to our texts. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.
